For the next week, 'Pokémon Go' makes it easier to find Water-type critters

It’s time for a Pokémon Go pool party.

The latest in-game event for The Pokémon Company’s hit mobile game connects to the Water Festival. If you’re on the hunt for more Water-type Pokémon, you’ll want to fire up the game starting on March 22 at 4 p.m. ET.

Magikarp, Squirtle and Totodile (plus their evolved forms) will all appear with greater frequency until the event ends on March 29 at 4 p.m. ET. In addition, all Water-type Pokémon that were added to the game back in February will appear more frequently wherever Water-type Pokémon are normally likely to pop up. Read more…
